I'm Amelia, a self-taught web developer from Australia, living in the Netherlands. This is a little place for me to write and share about things I'm learning or have learned, things I'm struggling with or passionate about. They might involve Web Development, language learning, knitting or something else completely. But most likely one of those three.
I'm very interested in all aspects of sustainability, accessability and user-experience with Web Development, and the balancing act that is building in a developer-friendly way too. I like to explore alternative methods of developing, and aim for my sites and applications to do most of the work server-side to reduce the heavy-lifting the end users device must do.

So nice that you asked! Well we have the Playground which is where I play with new or new-to-me techniques, HTML elements or CSS properties. I have also now merged into that what used to be the 'Garden', where I write about different subjects. Somewhere between articles and blog posts. And lastly (for now) we have the Showcase. Any guesses what that might be? Why yes! It is me showing off some things I'm particularly proud of.
